7 Principles of Graphic Design
7 Principles of Graphic Design is a digital learning course created by a three-person visual design team to teach learning experience designers the fundamentals of visual design. Built from the ground up for Studio 5 (now Everbright), the course empowered non-designers to take greater ownership of visual decisions at a time when the design team was stretched across many simultaneous projects.
Working closely with the art director and animator, I helped brainstorm and refine course content before designing the full visual system. The visuals and examples were intentionally simple and easy to process, using a limited color palette aligned with the Studio 5 brand and basic geometric shapes to clearly demonstrate each principle. Select elements were animated to add clarity and visual interest. The final course was delivered through Rise Articulate and presented company-wide through guided workshops and live sessions.
